Queens, an other-worldly venue, houses three primary projects: an art gallery, an artist-in- residence and a series of concerts
Queens’ objective is to showcase art in an original setting, while respecting its authenticity and the history of the mansion with multidisciplinary exhibitions.
We aim to provide a multidisciplinary experience. In this context we propose several activities. The space is set up as an art gallery for different forms of artistic expression: painting, photography, sculpture, video, performance. These art forms can also be influenced by the digital world, such as virtual and augmented reality. The gallery’s ambition is to be a space where people can gather around multiple artistic mediums.
An artistic residence encourages artistic creation and offers visibility to artists. The space is flexible to support their artistic development.
The special atmosphere of the building, the warm and intimate setting and its Louis XVI style living room, lends itself perfectly for chamber concerts. In parallel, another space is planned for jazz concerts and jam sessions.
